Putting My Experience
to Work for Warrington and Warwick
As a resident in Warrington and Warwick Townships, you will have a critical choice to make in the Primary Election on May 18th: whom you prefer as your Magisterial District Judge (MDJ). The Magisterial District Court is the gatekeeper of our legal system. Among other duties, our MDJ hears small claims cases, landlord/tenant disputes, and traffic violations, sets bail in criminal cases, and determines whether there is sufficient evidence to bring a criminal case.
Going to court is stressful, but it can be much easier if your Magisterial District Judge makes the process easy to understand. Patrice Tisdale has spent her career delivering justice and translating “legalese” into plain English for people involved in court cases. If you need to go to court, you need a Judge who understands the law and makes justice clear to everyone involved.
Patrice Tisdale is by far the most qualified candidate for the position of Magisterial District Judge :
Highly qualified attorney – Trial attorney licensed in PA, NJ and OH
Experienced hearing officer -- In work for a federal agency, presided regularly as a hearing officer and rendered decisions on disputes
Committed to justice – Will be an unbiased adjudicator devoted to ensuring parties understand and participate in the process and are treated with dignity and respect
Community oriented – Serves on the Warrington Park & Recs Board; Executive Committee Member of the Bucks County NAACP; Executive Member of the New Americans Advisory Commission (advisory Board to the Bucks County Commissioners). Patrice and her husband have two boys in the Central Bucks School District. She has served the home and parent association for her sons’ school for several years as assistant treasurer, chair of the yearbook committee, and chair of a fundraising subcommittee. Earlier, Patrice coached her sons’ soccer and basketball teams.
Throughout her career as an attorney, Patrice has consistently and continuously provided comprehensive and easy-to-understand counsel to parties in the matters that came before her. Her goal as our MDJ is to make justice clear by assisting each party before her in understanding their rights and the processes that affect their case.
Electing Patrice Tisdale as Magisterial District Judge will bring experience, fairness, integrity, and clarity to our local District Court. She has the support of both Democrats and Republicans. Can she count your support as well?
